Title: Flea Find !! 3/2
Post by: RedVise on March 02, 2013, 06:41:37 PM
A BRISK morning out at the flea market today ! At least for Central Fl !
Haven't been there for a while and found some interesting stuff.
Dealers seemed to be pretty reasonable today.

In the first pic, I believe that is a shop made offset screwdriver .
There's an underlined Cman and Proto chisels, Starrett pocket level, Spin-Tite driver and 2 PowrKraft bits.

Second photo has, from left to right, Bonney, Williams, Billings, Plvmb, Cman, Lectrolite, Lakeside and a nice set of New Britain pliers.

Third has Hinsale, Vlchek, Bonney and Herbrand.

Fourth pic has some goodies too ! Spofford brace I know.
The screwdriver has a square shank in the handle and is stacked like a Estwing, no marks. Due to the colors in the handle, I dont think is is shopmade. Anybody familar with the wrench, it's pretty rough, I have it soaking in vinegar now to clean it up a little.

A good day at the flea market  !!

We go there pretty often, I bought that Wizard just down the road on 9th street yesterday

Ever go in memory lane, I like that store, its a shame what happened to that four story antique store on central ave, mostly furniture now

I have never seen that one, but the sizes look right for a plumbers acetylene tank wrench.

You guys are lucky. The flea markets around here don't open up until the snow melts. In May.

Nice finds there Brian!

That stinks, I'm glad there are plenty of indoor/outdoor flea markets year round here.
Start your own and maybe it will catch on.

I only have one flea around here and that is in bay city. they should be staring soon, first of April at the latest. tool selection is very hit or miss though. the next closest flea is in Harison and the only tool are new china junk, lower than harbor freight stuff. garage and estate sales can yeald a few jems but you have to look at 20 of them to find a score.
