Picked this up at the first Saturday auction near the house and other than "MADE IN THE USA behind the rotation clamp, I have nothing to go on. The paint looks original, sort of a burgundy colo, and maybe the only clue will be the unique lever that clamps the vise's pivot mechanism.
Thanks all

Does everything, smooth jaw with no replacable inserts, thinking made for retail trade (sears etc) which would be unmarked. Look under the base plate....(Take the bolt out)
Other than that, good luck, very generic design, the only slightly unusual thing is the odd aspect of the beam...

Had already pulled the base and nothing under there either. I still think the clue is in that clamp handle, unless there's something special about the ribs under the jaw which maybe would hold pipe in a pinch?? I have another smaller clamp vise with a Craftsman part number stamped on it and no Craftsman logo on it. Go figure.. Thanks Rusty

Can't help on the ID - but it's sure got a lot of capacity (opening) for its size.
