My wonderful wife knows a good tool box when she sees one(or two) at an estate sale. She even gentiled the guy down to $25 a piece for them. My question is more along the lines of how old are these babies? Both are in the vintage where the micro key and tumbler were part of the center latch. and one has a KY67 for a key code. One has brown felt and the other green The green felt unit has the "Kennedy" signiture on the inside of the lid rather than on the outside and the Brown felt unit has the smallish sticker on the inside of the lid that says "Kennedy Kits".
any help would be a great thing.

Those look like some I had in the 70s, and the gold tag, possibly earlier. Machinist aren't hard on boxes, like a mechanic, so they are in really great shape? At that price you can't touch new, let alone the quality those are. What is the width?

Both boxes are 20"wide

Moose, Google Kennedy Customer Service. You can email or call. They have records back to when they had toolboxes on the Mayflower.

Ya got a good woman there, moose!
I'd absolutely die if my wife brought one home like that, let alone two of them.
Yep, good woman.....
