I have a whole box full of these & have no clue what they are for. I'm assuming they would be used by a machinist. But what are they? They look like some sort of drill bits. I had a hard time getting a clear pic hopefully you can make itout.

I cannot tell the scale, but it looks like a jeweler's broach. Are they long and skinny with a faceted tip?

Thanks for the help! I just showed them to a friend at my work, he knew exactly what they were...they are taper pin reamers.

Watchmakers, clock makers etc used these to ream out pinion holes, bushings, taper pins etc - also known as a Lancashire reamer or pin broach in the UK...
