Are these for leather, gasket, or something else?

Is there a rectangular depression on the outside cover, bottom right side?

If so, it's Snap-on/Blue point 11 piece gasket punch set, and you win the suck award for the week..;P

Yes there is, so I guess it $5 well spent then :-)

Nice set, I'd love to have a set of punches like that, to punch leather discs for air pumps on my lanterns!

Gotta find me one of these!

They are also great for making round linen patches for muzzle loading round balls.
