Title: Closed end alligator

With mouth open wrenches are called alligators, what are they called  with a closed end?

Says   "Diamond" , it's   actually a well made tool.

 That one is a horseshoe calk wrench.

Makes sense, it came from a shop that was a smiths years ago.
