Title: collecting
Post by: amertrac on June 23, 2013, 05:04:36 AM
I have been slowly knocking down my collection of tools the last three months BUT for some unknown reason my small  scale collection has risen in numbers. My wife  has brings it to my attention  every time she dusts the beams  in our living room. I have no idea where they are coming from .I have only ordered a few that I remember .Is there a scale fairy too?    bob w.

I bet for each one you sell, you turn up two you had forgotten!

It is a common thing.   In the winter I brought an empty tool box in and set it beside my computer chair.  As I find things, and try identifying them on the net, I planned to  just tuck them into the tool box.   Well I realized that the shelf, and end of the puter desk were getting heavy with iron.   Cleared the books, and stuff off that box, and got ready to file away the tools laying around.  Was I ever surprised when I find the box already full.   Don't recall putting anything in it.    Had been feeling the winter was a rather  poor tool gathering season.  Wrenches in there looked rather familiar, but when did I fill it up?    I figured I may end up like this, just didn't think it would be this soon!
