Title: Black Hawk Wrench?
Post by: HeelSpur on July 21, 2013, 04:18:49 PM
This is another that was totally covered in rust. Only info I have found on black hawk Clarcksville, Tn was about a corn sheller. Anyone know anything on this?

Found an ad for the corn sheller (http://books.google.com/books?id=HllLAAAAYAAJ&pg=RA2-PA40&img=1&zoom=3&hl=en&sig=ACfU3U0cAk690zTGjdOEeUhBUQMo5QenOQ&ci=35%2C416%2C509%2C452&edge=0 ) -- Farm Implement News Buyers Guide also shows no other Black Hawk at Clarksville, TN but the corn sheller made by A. H. Patch.
This is definitely one that should be in the next volume by P.T. Rathbone. -- I'd like to use it in the MVWC Newsletter as well.

Oops, I should have said that BLACK HAWK was a trade name used by A. H. Patch of Clarksville, TN for hand cranked corn shellers, grist mills, etc.
