Title: Dodge Slide Set # 40 Bench Vise??

Never heard of this one before,  Got it from a neighbor that's downsizing.  It's cool factor is that it operates a lot lke my old Craftsman wood vise as far as the jaw sliding when you disengage the "nut" in the back.  All ifnfo appreciated.

The patent number puts it in 1949+, the Patent is in fact for the quick release screw.

No assignment, but Dodge is ringing a bell for some reason...
