Saw this in the photo I took in an antique shop. The rusty long piece laying across the John Deere wrench. Eyes were busy on other items and never got an up close look at it. So, a tool or an adjuster part?

I can't believe there wasn't a single guess, or even a snarky comment. Went back tried to enhance it more, but this is as good as it got.

I'll take a wild guess. From the picture it looks like a hammer claw on one end. Some type of nail puller, perhaps? Or maybe it's a tool for standing and/or moving walls in framing.

Has a hang hole in one end, so I'm thinking tool.
Perhaps a valve lifter missing chain and fork?
Or some kind of jacking stand/assembly jig.....(wild guess terratory here ;P)
