only thing I can think of is bleeder valves on hot water radiators, spent 30+ years in the HVAC don't remember any wrenches like that.

There has been information on ths wrench in the Missouri Valley Wench Club Newsletter. It came with some kind of Armstrong machine, maybe  pipe threader? There are two different sizes known. I'm in Baraboo, WI now for the
Fall wrench club meeting now and can't look it up. Maybe if Stan hasn't left yet he can?

It is the combination wrench to accompany an ARMSTRONG 3-bar boring tool (lathe face plate work).
I have a 1930 hardware catalog listing all ready to show here if I could only get "paste" to work.
After rereading "how to post images" and with prompting from papaw (plus a day's breather doing "big box" cashier work), here's another try:

Stan- click the "Insert Image" icon- first one in the second row above the text box, then insert your image url between the IMG  IMG   Marks.
