Title: K.R. Wilson
Post by: HeelSpur on September 22, 2013, 05:18:26 PM
Anyone familiar with these tools? Found this one today but come up empty on it, but found this site that is pretty cool but still no info. There is a forum but it doesn't seem very busy.

Mentioned as 1939-1942 Ford Brake Adjusting Tool, dunno how reliable that is tho.
I think tha XA numbers were a transition numbering system before the modern ford part numbering system.....

"K.R. Wilson Buffalo, N.Y. Exclusive Builder of Approved Ford Shop Equipment since 1916" -- from a 1937 Popular Science ad.
Anyone in the forum close to the Detroit Public Library to hunt up a FORD shop manual to find the application for this one?

The brake adjusting wrenches are 8 point, for the square head adjuster. I think they are 7/16 and 1/2"
