Title: CRAFTSMAN 3/8 BE
Post by: amertrac on September 24, 2013, 08:52:58 AM
I PICKED UP A CRAFTSMAN BE C UNDERLINE. LOOKING UP IN COMCAST THEY SHOW TWO DIFFERENT STYLES BUT BOTH SHOW EGG SHAPED COVER PLATES . THE ONE I HAVE IS SORT OF A FIGURE EIGHT AND THE SHIFT LEVER IS DOUBLE AND ON THE SAME SIDE AS THE DRIVE UNDER THE RATCHET WHEN USING IT

Bob,If you take it apart, you can put it back together with the drive on either side.  Your choice.

NOPE THE TOP IS SOLID TO THE HANDLE AND THE HANDLE HAS SLOTS TO MOVE THE SHIFTER

Nice find. I just picked up a decent underline H on Saturday. Found it at a tag sale in a pile of junk.

Nice find, I had one a while back an it was a great piece. Very different feel in the handle compared to other ratchets.
