Seller reports it was his retired grandfather who was machinist and tool & die maker .
I would have to refinish that one, sure would like to see it fresh and shiny....

Could have been for anything originally.
But dentists used such boxes from way back.
It would mean quite a bit of work repairing all the veneer missing. Its fairly easy to do, but it takes.................. time..
