Title: Turnscrew with Embedded Wrench
Post by: CraigC on October 01, 2013, 09:13:54 PM
One of the old tools I found along with the SCB in my previous last posting.

Obviously a screwdriver / wrench combo. No markings.

Any ideas if it was special purposed for a specific item, like a bicycle or hand plane?

Turnscrew is 3 5/8" Long. Wrench is 15/32" or 1/2".

Thx,
Craig

That is a neat little turnscrew.  I've never seen one with the wrench on the blade like yours.  However, I am no help on the useage.

I had a PH style once that had a square at the top with different wrench openings on the sides.  I think it was made in Germany.   Only one like that I've seen.

A clock tool could be a possibility too.

Might also be for a sewing machine?  Cope shows a couple that are similar, although wrench is in the handle, rather than the blade.
