Title: Restoration of Craftsman Tool box
Post by: Crowvet on October 08, 2013, 10:51:22 PM
This box belonged to my Dad, Nothing to special about it but I kinda took a liking to it and decided to restore it.. I did not remove the small dings in it, but I think it turned out pretty nice.

Nice work, sir. Nice indeed!
Plus, it has sentimental value.
Use it with pride!

That's an incredible transformation; nicely done!!!

Did you replace the drawer pulls?  If, so, where did you source them?

EDIT:  Just looked at the close up photos of the paint work; it looks like you used automotive paint and paint gun as apposed to Krylon rattle cans.  Nice touch!

Thanks, No I buffed them on a wire wheel and then covered them with Chrome body Molding tape... Like you would use on a car door.
