Title: Monkey Wrenches in the Wild!
Post by: johnsironsanctuary on October 10, 2013, 09:56:49 AM
Got these at an estate sale last weekend along with a 50+ lb Reed Vise that is frozen solid as a rock.  Does anyone know why Mossberg marked the little bicycle wrenches so many different ways? I have four with different markings.

I have several different ones too, just figured they were from different time periods.

Bus will know- I think he is the most avid collector of Mossberg bicycle wrenches.

The markings for particular models did change over the years. What has always puzzled me is why they made so many identical or nearly identical models i.e. Sterling, Alderman, Diamond, National, A series, B-series. F- series, etc.

Thanks Bus. I was thinking the same thing.  Maybe some day you can show us photos of your assortment.
