Title: My yard sale finds
Post by: bonneyman on October 20, 2013, 12:44:24 AM
Found some nice gems the past couple of days. The Blackhawk DBE appears to be a 1943. Looks pretty darn good for a 70-year old!lol

I don't do ebay much. And when I do, it's specifically to look for Bonney wrenches and Proto drivers.

If it's the brown krinkle paint with orange logo, that dates it to between like 1932 and 1946. I'd say with all the compartments it was probably a wartime box.

OK, what's the story on the screwdriver and the brass rod thing?

I believe it is a design that is supposed to hold the screw for you.

Yes, that is a screw starter in #1 phillips. Globemaster (Japan) but in almost new shape and cost 50 cents.

The brass thingey is half of an old style toilet float operator. Missing the threads (which I put back on) and I snagged it because I have some older toilets I need to keep working.
