Title: Gordon Automatic
Post by: stanley62 on October 29, 2013, 07:24:38 PM
Found this guy in my recent foraging, but its is not in Copes.  Any idea how old it is?  It is stamped
GORDON
AUTOMATIC
PATD USA

Its the first one I have seen and it is pretty cool.  The bottom jaw is spring loaded and you push the latch and it closes.

They're neat wrenches.  Not terribly rare, but cool non the less.  Nice find!

I guess Mr. Cope did find that for the second edition.  My Copes is the 1st edition...  Time for an update to the old Copes.  I'll put that on my wish list next to Rathbones 3rd edition.
