One of the MVWC auction pages shows a DEANE impl co wrench (looks different, and more refined than yours, but marked DEANE), (of Holyoke...)

DEANE steam pump company, of Holyoke, Mass.  (see Rathbone, vol 1, pg. 129 ) 
The wrench is pictured there.
