i found this in a pile of old tools,there was at least one other,i picked the best one.
its auto adjusting,about 8" long...heck that looks like a generator bracket?

That is an interesting wrench. How does it adjust? Can you post more photos? If you want to sell pm me I would be interested. Better yet go get the others like it I haven't seen any like that before.

when i put it back together,well not sure its timed correctly?

Les, take a look at the W. Morehouse pat. No. 52,930. This one bears many similarities, but we need more pictures.

i had seen it in the cope book but never looked for a pat. #.
then again i am not sure why some have picture like images and others only have a simple drawing like picture??
this tool is crude as in prototype?

I've never seen an "S" handle self-adjuster so it leans towards "craftsman made," a "shop project," or prototype.
