If I can remember back to about 1985 or so, I bought these in a small local auto parts store. I am pretty sure they were sold as Thexton tools.

They are 3/8" drive socket extensions.
They came as a pair shrunk wrapped on a piece of cardboard. On the back they had examples of the many ways these could be joined, (in a C curve, S curve, 90 degrees, and any number of other combinations). They can be used alone or together, with or without an extension, ratchet, breaker or T-bar, etc. I used them many times in working on Ford tractors and in timing engines as a distributor wrench. One of the ways I would use them was with a 3/8" wrench that I welded a drive piece into. The wrench snapped in and gave a good solid feel to whatever form one chose.
The marking looks like a "B" in a five sided figure. It does not look like Bonney shield emblem. One of them has a "2" cast on the other side.
Have any of you seen, used or owned these?
Thanks. Al

Haven't seen them until today, haven't used or owned them. You left out, "ever lusted after these?" to which the answer is, "sure, as soon as I read your post."

Not seen anything like these before. But going on my list, these look so darn handy, one of those common sense things that makes you say, Why didn't I think of that? Better lock them up!

Those are a first for me. I worked as an auto mechanic for 47 years , sure could have used them
a time or two.

I could use them myself.
