Title: Plomb 5402 Torque Wrench
Post by: OilyRascal on December 16, 2013, 05:56:13 PM
Roped in from the wild today was this Plomb Model 5402 1/2" drive torque wrench.  I'm not a Plomb guy, and don't know much about them.  Any clues as to its vintage?

It is very similar to one made by Walden Worcester.....

I had that same one for about 35 years. Sold it to someone on Papaws forum. They were made by Sturtevant and have the Sturtevant logo on the backside of them. I have since gotten a Sturtevant copy of the Plomb except it does not have the upper 1/2 inch drive stud. Good torque wrenches.
