...darn it; I didn't realize the "edit" function had gone away or hidden somewhere...

...but could also be used to make a bend in a piece of sheet metal in the field, when the full-size brake was back in the shop.  Not good for long bends, but helpful for, say, architectural flashing.

There were also some joining methods for ductwork, similar to a standing seam, for which these would be the cat's flannel nightwear.

And thanks for reminding me where the "edit" button is; it had been a while since I needed to go back and fix/add to a message.

9 inches long and marked with the number 1164 AB, and what may be a "MPC" logo. It has a very specific job, but I don't know what that may be. I'm thinking military use but could be way off. Any ideas?

Hello, Don . Thanks , it has a Durbin-Durco stamp , cast iron body with an aluminum clamp . They also offered one with an aluminum body , so this one is a hybrid :grin:
