Anybody know when these were born :-).
Theres a boatload of them for sale but trying to find
info on them is getting old. Have found zilch,
suppose I'm searching the wrong places.
Got 2 of them, so both sides are in pic.

CAT. 3146 appears in a 1926 M. Klein & Sons  catalog listing reprinted on pg. 4 of the Dec. 1989 MVWC Newsletter.  That listing calls them "Bell System Type Lineman's Wrench."   So they were around in the '20s.  That does not tell us when they first appeared, or how long they were in production.

wow, didn't think they went back that far. Can't see it in the pic because its opposite sides, but the lettering is quite different like one is newer than the other. Thanks for the info..
