Is this a cream separator handle?  Or something else?

Thanks,

Cream separator is most likely -- The primary gear in our DeLaval had a ball bearing & a gong inside -- once you got the crank up to the right speed centrifugal force kept the ball bearing from ringing the gong any more.  It took a good strong pull to overcome that first inertia and get things moving but once you got up to speed it was more boredom than tedium to keep the thing going.
