I ran across this eBay listing and figured I would pass it along just in case someone was looking for a good used flashlight to guide their way at night.

He has a interesting account name....
And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

If the glass lets the right wave length of red  through, this specialty light would preserve night vision accuity -- wonder what occupation / work setting this thing was originally produced for.

6 unique bidders over $250 too, what a find for the seller if he wasn't a collector.

yes, with 17-18 hours to go, there are 7 bidders,  bid started at $9.99
lowest bidder had bid $101.75

my guess would be an emergency road light to be used while changing your
tire in the dark.

probably sold for $1.00 - $1.50 and most people could not afford to buy one then.
