Old, if you can consider the 70s as old.  Bought these new off the truck in the mid 1970s.   They are the CL-L wrenches, great for accessing down where the fingers dont' reach.  Don't even know if they are still available.  1/2,9/16,5/8, in the satin chrome finish.  Brought these home after they started getting some wear on them, and since replaced these with new Mac, oh, ten years ago.   I originally bought these under the direction of an older mechanic I worked with.   He had a set, bought them under Dr's orders,,,,,, He was told to get away from his work.  Ahh, after a few days, I can load photos again.

Jokes like that would make this place worth hanging out even if I didn't care about tools!

John k,

Thanks for the photo.  Those wrenches are gorgeous; as my daughter says... "awesome sauce".

I've never seen the CL-L wrenches before, and I've been mining tools for several decades.

Are there any markings on the other side of the wrench?  If so, what?

If you bought them mid 1970's, there should be a two-digit date code (i.e. a letter & number like "A4", "B1", "C2", etc.)

John k,

Well, my luck has changed, I found a MAC CL 16 L wrench today.  Very nice wrench and quite the long fellow.

Thanks for bringing these wrenches to my attention.

PS-- my newfound CL L wrench has no date code stamped on it.
