been away a while
« on: June 29, 2014, 09:11:01 AM »
been away a while, my computer died and window 8.1 blows.

I found a few tools lately but my camera died before the computer so I haven't been documenting purchases before they go in the box.

so last weekend my son had a party and I took the boys out back 4wheelin. I kissed a tree and rearranged my custom passenger side view mirror mount.
I took the opportunity to relocate it slightly rearward for a better view.

this is the drives side.

passenger side:

I got the boss involved in the work:

Worse than MS's vacuum cleaner...

You may like this: http://www.classicshell.net/

Makes the interface at least bearable, doesn't fix the bugs underneath tho :(
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

Hah, at first I thought that dust pan was part of your "custom mirror mount" Doh.

That kid looks like a natural, best hand him the spray gun next!

So do the little sparkley bits from a grinding wheel.
As a cement contractor now knows, after I gave him the bill for replacing the front door glass in a building he was working on////

Lessee....2 minutes to throw up a drop cloth, or, $300 to replace all the glass......
Guess which one he picked....

Time is money...but money is money too....

You have good taste in dust pans btw, I have one of those big alumnium ones, I love it :)
