I have a ratchet like the one posted in the tunnel photo. actually had 2 of them. they were a Lowel(sp) ratchet. 6'long and I think the opening was around 2" hex. Bought for $1each so I sold one last year for $10 or $20.

Well now, that one is clearly not a real tool :P No way he could carry that thing if it were made out of steel.

That Williams 22B is especially impressive given that it looks to be forged, not just cut out of plate. Which means that an expensive set of forge dies would be needed, the cost of which could not have been spread out over very many wrenches.

Wonder what a new 22B cost back in the day?
My friends call me Bob. My wife calls me a lot worse.

They have that information listed on the link... In 1930, it cost $204 new... Which, adjusted for inflation, would be $2,897.22 today...
