I'm a large collector of many things... One being old tools.
I hope I can be of some help on this sight.

So .... What do we want to talk about ???

Well we could talk about what type of tools you like. I like American mechanics tools from the late 1930s up to modern tools. I have about 400 tools made by P&C, but i really don't collect them. I am putting together a collection of ratchets made by the Plomb / Proto tool empire. I also like New Britain tools. Like Plomb / Proto they made lots of tools for other companys.

I collect things that are odd or very rair...
This is an example. I've had this antique DC welder posted different places on the net as maybe the oldest DC electric welder.
No one has come up with one older...

I also build tools. I'm building an ironworker now.

Hey, I remember you from some of the tractor sites. You always had some really cool stuff.

Aunt Phil

Kevin that ain't a welder, it's a very old mercury tube battery charger, probably from a battery rack in a shop.

Welcome to the asylum here.

How many engines have you got stashed now?
Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance!

It's a welder... It even came with the weld leads... I've even welded with it....

This second picture sows where you plug in the weld lead for different heats...

Use the Image button in the second line of icons above the text box. It will place IMG tags for you to paste the image url within.
