Bonney wrench question
« on: December 27, 2014, 08:22:51 PM »
In an email today-
"Hello, I hope you don't mind sharing a little info. I am an ebay seller in good standing, and I usually do my own research, but I am stumped on this one. I have a BONNEY open end wrench, stamped 1030A, with  1/2 x 7/8 openings. Also has the CV circle logo, and CHROME VANADIUM in raised lettering on the handle. Also a raised JS and 2 raised dots?? date code?? Thanks, and happy holidays, Lou  "

Anyone have some info for him?

According to AA, the CV circle logo was used from 1923 thru 1939. The S date code would probably indicate 1927 manufacture.

I had sent him a  link to AA concerning Bonney. Hope he finds what he needs.
