What are these for??
« on: July 27, 2015, 08:04:42 PM »
Breaking the hibernation from the group to solicit the knowledge of the gurus here.

Here are two stamped metal corner type pieces that maybe support something  like the periphery of a pallet or something, but I have no idea as to what they do or why.  A friend has a couple boxes of these things in both styles and even though they lengthen and contact and the to pand bottom edges have lips that might cradle a bungie cord or rope,  the hook thing on the red one still puzzles me.

I am, as always, at the forum's mercy on this one.

TIA

Could they be some type of saw horse brackets?

I agree with saw horse brackets.  The hook may just be for storage when not in use.

Maybe, but there's no holes drilled for screws to hold the legs or rectangular socket for a 2x4's.  Bedsides, this is 18 gauge metal at best......
