Herbrand 34A DOE 1 1/16 x 15/16

I know it's a wrench, but what wrench?
Cant find any data in AA noting the non script marking other than it started to be used in 1921.
Cant find any data on the wrench itself.
Marked in block caps: HERBRAND, smaller block caps: MADE IN USA.  34A
Possible casting mark/steel type ? that is faint: 1030 , very hard to read.
(WAG) Car kit wrench?
