Friend sent me a Duro sealed-head rat in 1/2", to go along with my 3/8" (in a 1/4" long body) and 1/4" rats of the same patent number. Needs a good JAFE juice soak and a selector knob made, but, she's a beaut!

Actually, the 1/2"er has a gear that is male drive on one side, female drive on the other. Any suggestions?

Those are nice. I suggest you send them to me and forget about them.
Find some 1/16in sheet metal and fabricate a duplicate.

Good job. I knew you could pull it off. Nothing like putting a good tool back into working condition.
