I was given my Grandpa's old Shopmaster Lathe. I can't find any info about it online. It is model L-502.

Anyone have any ideas?

Yes, there's a good chance you'll find something about your lathe on the Vintage Machinery website.

Edit:  I just checked, and there is some info on L-500 series lathes to include a few pictures, a four page owners manual with and exploded view and a parts list, and a couple general line catalogues from 1950 and 1960.  Take a look.  It's a great website.
