Does it have any other markings beside what's on that specialty jaw?  The body looks more like a SAMSON lever jaw to me.

Sure looks like a Samson to me MVWC. As for the jaws, special made for the application at hand by the manufacturer to your specifications. Most likely not something you would find on on the shelf in your local tool store but would be given by your employer to you to do your job what ever that may be.
