 1 st Item.
   I think Duro was tied in with Industro way back when. It looks like some thing that could be used to position a piece of work in a lathe or a milling machine, but it looks kinda light for that. Maybe an attachment for a wood lathe?

  Not a nut cracker or a meat tenderizer,but for some strange reason to me it looks like it could be related to tires. Is that a 1/2 or 3/4 drive.

#2 - WHEATON -- valve wrench for fuel truck  (delivery to the farm, etc.) --  The hook spanner to tighten & loosen the coupling nut on the delivery hose.

Having a hard time visualizing how that wrench would work. Is it some thing still in use today? Maybe I can go look at a fuel truck.

That's funny!  I had #2 in my hands yesterday at the flea...........different brand though, but I don't recall what it was.  EXACT same tool with the floppy socket attached to the handle.

Found info on the first one; was told it is a Model A and T flathead valve facing tool. There was a valve wedged into this but I took it out. This was in a box lot and you know how things get mangled together but I had no idea what it was.

The hook spanner (curved part on the end) is secondary .. take a look at  ( http://www.datamp.org/patents/displayPatent.php?number=1255370&typeCode=0 ) -- patent for a WHEATON self-closing valve -- the square socket in the pivoted part is the valve "wrench" part.

HeelSpur,  when you had the valve in the Duro, was the head of the valve against the thumbscrew on the left in the 1at picture ?

I believe you are correct in calling it a valve refacer.  the top of the valve would touch the thumbscrew, and the large plate with the
locating pin would sit on the stem, but not tight.  then there would be a short handle that would be attached to the end of the stem
sticking out.  the short block should have a cutter in it that you could set the angle to recut the valve face by turning the handle.

I have a couple of these, if I can find them, I know that one is missing the handle.

look in the box for a short handle with a set screw in it.

this is what makes me think that is what you have.
