A whatsit and Whosit

What were these used for. Has a 1-1/16" angled cutting edge. There no name or numbers on this anywhere. Weighs 3-1/2 lbs.

Thanks Lou, that seems to be them. The only difference I see is the cutting angle. Theirs appear to be straight where mine are angled. Don't know if that makes a difference or the cutters were made for a different application.

Hello, I did notice that yours were angled, and the newer ones are straight, no comment on either, way out of my league!!!!
