makers stamp on a hammer

Anybody know this mark? It's on a hole punch hammer I picked up last weekend. It's stamped US85 (I think) and "wear safety goggles" on the top

Less than 18 minutes?  Not bad!  Kind of spikes the potential for extended speculative discussion, but it does open the floor for stories about other Woodings Verona tools.  Who knows, maybe Bird's bringing back a whole slew of Woodings Verona stuff from her expedition to Donnellyland, and can keep this thread going for days with pictures and stuff
