Cornwell Tools
« on: November 24, 2016, 07:54:00 AM »
Good Morning Everyone, and Happy Thanksgiving to All.What I have here are 7 Cornwell Wrenches, my guess is that they are Ignition, or, Obstruction Wrenches. What I am trying to find out is if these were a specific kit to a car or motorcycle? Military? The pouch is leather, the sizes run from 3/16 to 3/8, and all are stamped Cornwell , and for size. Each wrench has a number following Cornwell, 3, 5, 7, 9, 13,and 19. There are two number 5's, so I am missing one out of sequence.  Thanks, Lou

IP  you will find a couple of catalogs at http://www.toolarchives.com/ that may help. I suspect you are missing a 17 instead of that extra 5.
A person who could really read human minds would be privileged to gaze on some correct imitations of chaos.

Hello, Bill. Thanks for the info. The 1941 catalog shows a 10 piece set, and the 1955 catalog shows an eight piece set. Neither show the the 7 piece set that I have here. I will have to keep looking for that stray wrench!!!!!!!!  Regards, Lou
