That has to be the first type Proto ratchet made by using up the left over Plomb forging. Why toss them just because of the lawsuit. Change the forging dies and use up the old stock rather than tossing it back in the melting pot. Even after Proto changed the style on the smaller ratchets, they still made 1 inch drive ratchets with the pebble handles for a while. I have seen WF-38 style ratchets with the Proto name on them along with several other names. Which came first ? If i could afford to buy every type of Proto ratchet ever made, I would have to sell my house and live in my van. One of my favorite style of the pear head ratchets is my P&C  model #62?0. The third number is unreadable. I will be installing a repair kit in it later today. I live only about 20 minutes from the old P&C factory and have over 400 of their tools, but I don't collect them ? Then there is Protomex and Proto Canada. Oh lordy, where will it end ? Just found the ratchet part number on another site. The number is #6210.

I have never seen the Proto Pebble in 3/8 or 1/4.
Anyone here seen one?

I have only seen 1/2 inch and 1 inch modern pebbles. I would not be surprised if other sizes exist. I believe almost anything can exist in the Plomb / Proto world. I would not be surprised to see Mr. Plombs earthly remains being sold on eBay.

Saw some P&C 1/2" sockets on GG.  Unplated in the 60XX series.
