   Yes, if the head comes loose a quick tap downwards on something solid re-seats it.

   Though they are perfectly functional, the round handle feels a bit lacking compared to a wooden oval section shaped handled hammer (but then a wooden oval section hammer feels lacking compared to a modern "soft grip" hammer handle!).

   If you were in the middle of nowhere they would be a good style as a user, otherwise give me a modern claw hammer  ;-)
