We are back

Electric went out satuday morning  just came back on. Exciting week end. The regulator went out on the generator so that stopped working used all our emergency supply of wood . Could not get to the wood pile ( twenty feet from house )We got 16 inches of snow and 45 mph winds. we were strande. no body in or out . Our little mountain retreat was just that. No phone no electric and no puter and 28 degrees now i have to find a propane regulator for the generator  oh yeah we are getting low on propane also.

Been through that. It is not much fun. Glad you are OK. I am grateful that I live in a more temperate part of the country -Wisconsin. What do you do about snow shoveling?

Our power has been out since Saturday afternoon. We might not get ours back on until Friday. I am running my generator. We are Motel 6 for the rest of the family showers, hot coffee and beds for those that want to stay. My 92 almost 93 year old Mom is staying until her power comes back on. I'll miss the IL auction this weekend. I canceled my Fort Wayne trip for work this week. 9 Maple trees in the yard have major limb damage and one 60 ft tree up rooted on the back half of the property. Great fun for October can't wait to see what winter brings.

Actually the roads are clear of snow, trees, tree limbs and wires are another thing.
