I have an old miter box with angles marked by letters, just a few in each direction, R, W, O, H, M.
I assume these stnd for the names ofmolding, or such, but the onl one I cna guess s RIGHT.
Here's a box like mine :

I don't see a name.  Any ideas?
Thanks,
Wilson

Hello, Mike. I do believe E C Stearns also made a similar Mitre Box, with the glued up back , and base, of light & dark woods. A lot of competition in the tool market back in the day, hard to tell who was imitating who. Regards, Lou
