I have been attempting to thin the herd but seems no one wants old wrenches anymore. I have priced things at giveaway prices and still no buyers !
I don't even care how much I may have paid for most of the wrenches I still have. I would just like to sell them.

Papaw, try selling things in a mixed lot.  You won't make as much as selling individually but they may find a new home.  Or donate them to Habitat Restore, Goodwill or Salvation Army - get a receipt for your taxes.

Zero resale on them here too.   I buy them but I might wait out a year or two for the prices to drop.  Lol!

The seller rarely if ever sells the old brown ones to anyone else.

After me, I only have hopes my son picks up the hobby.

The only bad tool is the one that couldn't finish the job.  Ironicly it may be the best tool for the next job.

My wife does not call it a hobby she refers to it as a curse.

All good suggestions, but I think, other than auctions starting at $.01, I have tried all of them. No Habitat Store here and I don't think they even have an idea what these might be. used to be one here but it is gone. I have visited one in Houston, but it was all leftover  construction stuff.

The habitat store does not know what most tools are.
