Can anyone ID this cape chisel?

I found this 1/4" cape chisel recently. It's 6-3/4" long but I don't recognize the maker.

Since the stamping doesn't look parallel to the edges & it appears that there is a dot after the g, c, t, & o,   
Company marking for G.C.T.Co.? 
Google brings up Government College of Technology

Maybe-  Granite City Tool Co. (of Barre VT)
