BTC 3/4" Chain Repair Link

Hello, This a 3/4" Chain Repair Link, sometimes referred to as a Missing Link. I am trying to figure out the lettering "BTC". I could not track it down, only thing I got on the web is that BTC now refers to Bitcoins!!!.Regards, Lou

I believe that BTC stands for Brewer-Titchner Corporation. I searched through Google and followed links so I think I'm correct. It looks like they're closing down now.
