Odd little Bonney wrench

I'm glad you posted the catalog page.  I thought it looked shop made.  Seems like it is probably designed for circumventing some obstruction at a 90 degree angle (give or take).

I thought the same thing on both accounts. I still can't see how you would get any leverage with the pivot being there, unless maybe it locks!!

It is just a handle that you can pull on or push on to operate. Not intended for an extension to increase leverage.

Think using it as shown with the extension being bent, not straight in line with the main section of the wrench.

It's an ignition wrench so it doesnt need a lot of torque

Having thick fingers I can see how this would be a handy tool

By chance ran across a January 1929 MOTORBOATING  "new product announcement" for the Bonney Ignition Set No. 18 which includes this E6.  So there's your starting date for its existence.
