Hi folks, the faithful rambler here.... I just emailed a friend of mine and asked him if he could figure out how to post pictures here. I gave him my photo bucket info and my info here. So, hopefully, he'll be able to help me out.....   we'll see.

hover the mouse pointer over the photobucket picture you want to post. a 'share' list will appear at the bottom of the picture. Move the mouse pointer down to the one labeled "IMG code" and when the mouse pointer changes from an arrow to a finger, click on it and it will say "copied". Then, go to your post, right click in it and select "paste". The IMG, or image code will then be pasted into your post and your picture will appear when you click "Post".
This works best if you have a browser that allows "tabs" so that you can move back and forth between Photobucket and ToolTalk.
You're almost there.

We've been down that road a few times with Bird to no avail. If she has someone to lead her, I'll welcome it. I have seen most of her pictures on her Photobucket account, and she does have a lot of wrenches.

I used to consider myself as a fairly smart person... that is clearly not true when it comes to computers...  Papaw's right on this one... everyone in the world has tried to help me with pictures... I'm officially lacking a brain when it comes to the whole picture thing.  I think that is the way to put it in the "politest of terms."  Bottom line---   I can't cut it when it comes to pictures!!!!!  That's old news to most of you!
hope everyone is doing well,

I know how it is Bird.  It was a sharp learning curve for me/computers/photos.  Papaw had to post my first on another site and then spend several talks thru before I got it.  Bird the first time you do it you will  dance the house down.  KatBird thought I was hurt from the shouting when I finally got a photo up.

Don't feel bad.Up until last year I had no idea what "paste & copy " was and felt too stupid to ask.Now it's kinda simple.Posting pic's I had to figure out on my own.It just seems harder than it is.I can do it thru photobucket, but still have no idea how to do things like rotate and stuff. Once you do it once,it will click.

Bird use my trick. I write the steps on a piece of paper when someone gives me directions or I find something that works. Then the next time is easy if I can find the piece of paper.

Hover the mouse pointer over the photobucket picture you want to post. A 'share' list will appear at the bottom of the picture.
Move the mouse pointer down to the line in that list labeled "IMG code", and when the mouse pointer changes from an arrow to a finger, click on it and it will say "copied".
The picture is now stored on the 'clipboard' inside your computer.
Now, go to your post, right click in it and select "paste". The IMG, or image code will then be pasted into your post and your picture will appear when you click "Post".
This works best if you have a browser that allows "tabs" so that you can move back and forth between Photobucket and ToolTalk. If you aren't sure how Tabs work, look up 'using tabs' in the browser help section, you'll be glad you did.

Sorry Bird I don't use photo bucket so can't help there. KXXR's directions looked easy try that. I think you are doing the same thing I do. I tend to think it is a lot more complicated than it is. Once you have that sheet of paper it is just one step/click at a time. Even without it it can't be that hard to do a lot. If a not to bright 6 year old can make me look and feel like an idiot in 2 minutes it can't be that hard.
